Final Smash with no color??

How this happened: First, I got the Superspicy Curry. Second, I got the Smash Ball. Third, one of my teammates KO'd Bowser. Fourth, I waited until Bowser wasn't invincible. Fifth, I released the Smash Ball on Bowser. Sixth, While I was doing this, the curry wore off during the Final Smash. Thus, I did the rest of the Final Smash without the glow around me.
